AC Milan are interested in signing Patson Daka and are monitoring his development closely, according to a report.
Daka has 23 goals in 19 games for Red Bull Salzburg this season and after Dominik Szoboszlai he looks set to be the next big-money sale that the Austrian side make. He is scoring goals in batches, including an an 11-minute hat trick against Sturm Graz on Sunday.
According to a report on Calciomercato.com – which cites the Daily Star – Daka is being targeted by Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Everton in the Premier League. They apparently view the Zambia international as a potential cheaper alternative to Erling Haaland, who looks set to command a huge financial package if he is to leave this summer, while Daka would cost €20m.
However, the report goes on to mention that those are not the only teams interested in landing Daka, as Milan are also following the 22-year-old who fits perfectly with the vision of Elliott Management.
