Reports: Milan joined by Liverpool, Spurs and Leeds in race for €30m-rated forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of a long list of teams that are interested in signing Sampdoria attacking midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard, according to a report.

After an impressive European Championship campaign with Denmark, Calciomercato.com writes that Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has made it clear that he is willing to evaluate only ‘indecent’ offers for the talent, therefore around the €30m mark.

While the like of Juventus, Milan, Inter and Roma are following the player and hope to lower the requests by inserting counterparts, it seems that the asking price is currently out of reach for the quartet who have to look after the balance sheets.

Damsgaard has a big market in the Premier League though, and the report cites La Repubblica in reporting that Tottenham, Leeds, West Ham and Leicester have all made enquiries. Not only that, but in the last few hours the two Merseyside teams have registered interest too in Liverpool and Everton.
