Further complications have arisen in AC Milan’s pursuit of Barcelona defender Junior Firpo as a number of other clubs also want him, reports claim.
Calciomercato.com carry two reports on their website this morning, the first from il Corriere dello Sport who write how several English clubs have also set their sights on Junior Firpo.
The Rossoneri have offered €1million for the loan with an option to buy set at €15m, but the Catalan side would like an outright sale, so they have not closed the door to Premier League clubs.
Meanwhile, they also cite Mundo Deportivo who report that it is not only Milan in Serie A that want the 24-year-old, as Napoli are also in the running. They are trying to land Emerson Palmieri of Chelsea but are struggling to strike a deal, so Firpo could be a valid alternative.
