Reports: Wolfsburg ready to sell Vranckx for €6m as Maldini pursues a deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are pursuing a deal for Aster Vranckx and Wolfsburg have put him up for sale at an affordable price, reports claim.

According to what is being reported by Florian Plettenberg – journalist for Sky Sports in Germany – Wolfsburg have put Vranckx up for sale.

The 19-year-old has not convinced their coach Niko Kovac, and therefore the Bundesliga club put him on the market. Not only that, but they have set an asking price of €6m, with his agents hard at work to try and find a solution.

MilanNews confirm that his profile is of great interest to the management led by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, who will try to close with a loan with option to buy to bring him to Italy.

Meanwhile, Vrackx already seems to have his suitcases in hand, since last Saturday he was not even called up by Wolfsburg for the scheduled match against Schalke 04.

    1. he comes from the Belgian team KV Mechelen where he was a regular starter since the age of 17. He played 2 seasons in the Belgian first division. He scored his first goal with a header against Vincent Kompany. Not a bad player at all, but more the type of player that would be picked up by Atalanta. He reminds me a bit of Nigel De Jong. Apparently other clubs like Lille and Nottingham Forrest are interested as well. I think he will chose a team where he’s guaranteed first team action, so I don’t see him choosing AC Milan.

  1. još jedan Balo ture !! Milan bez vrhunskog desnog krila ove sezone neče napravit NIŠTA !! Dakle pod hitno uzeti Zijecha ili Berardija
