Thursday was a day full of meetings at Casa Milan, and one of them will certainly fuel the Mateo Retegui rumours.
In case you missed the story from Sky that broke late last night, Milan have apparently made Retegui a top target for the summer. This is despite the fact he can play Champions League football with Atalanta next season, and the high asking price he would command.

The Italy international racked up 25 goals in Serie A in 2024-25, which earned him the prestigious title of being the Capocannoniere, an award given out to the top scorer in Italy for the year.
Retegui’s agent meets Milan
According to MilanNews, there were several meetings yesterday at Milan’s headquarters. One was with Luka Modric’s entourage to define the last bureaucratic details of the agreement with the former Ballon d’Or winner.

Igli Tare also met the representatives of GEA World, an agency that represents players such as Marco Pellegrino (who is about to move to Boca Juniors) and, perhaps more interestingly, Retegui.
Gianluca Di Marzio, a journalist and mercato expert, spoke live on Sky’s CalcioMercato L’Originale about the Rossoneri’s interest in the Atalanta’s striker.
“Milan will try to sign Retegui, there is strong interest in the top scorer of the last Serie A. Juve are also interested in him, but the Rossoneri management will try to test the waters and understand if the deal will be feasible,” he said.

All clear on the rumour front.
No worries milan will sign the best striker.
Yeah, Pellegrino is in the middle of a move and the club met his agents… big story
It would be fantastic but I doubt is something real in this story..
Eve if this were true, the problem w/ ex-Atalanta players is that they are only stellar in Gasp’s system. Take them out and they are like fish out of water.
Curious to see what happens to Atalanta under Juric.
same kind as Jovic just diff tactics & provider,
put Jovic in Atalanta he’ll do the same as Retegui
