Despite hopes to return to AC Milan, Marco Pellegrino will shortly be leaving the club permanently, it seems.
In recent weeks, it has seemed that there was much more of a chance that Pellegrino would not be returning to Milan yet, with Huracán seeking a loan extension. However, with Boca Juniors seeking a permanent solution, the chances of a return could end altogether.

As was reported earlier this week, the central defender is a target for Boca, with discussions taking place and heading in one direction. Now, it seems like it may only be a matter of time before his exit is confirmed.
Milan News, this afternoon, writes that a deal is ‘expected’ with the Argentinian giants, with a fee of around €3.5 million expected to be enough to wrap up things for the defender, who failed to really shine when given a chance in Italy 18 months ago.
Given he is only 22, there is still plenty of time for the defender to come good, so it will be interesting to see if there are any clauses inserted as insurance over the future. However, the Rossoneri will not be losing out here, considering they only paid around €3.5m for his arrival in 2023.
