Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante is ready to reject AC Milan’s advances and renew his deal with the Giallosrossi, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today (via Milan News), Cristante is a player that Milan are looking closely at for next season as they look for added depth and stability in the midfield.
It appears to be a non-starter though as the Italian already wishes to renew his deal in Rome and continue under Jose Mourinho’s guidance.
Whether Roma are willing to offer him a contract that he is happy with is of course another issue but it is very hard to picture him in a Rossoneri shirt next season.
Milan are losing Franck Kessie from the midfield and Tiemoue Bakayoko is unlikely to be at the club next season too, so additional depth with Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali is required.
The situation could be helped by the return of Tommaso Pobega.
