AC Milan are in ‘concrete’ talks to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea and things are progressing ‘very well’, according to Fabrizio Romano.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan are in ‘concrete talks’ to sign Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea who is the ‘priority target to rebuild the midfield’ which is a department that has struggled for the Rossoneri this season.

Not only that, but Romano adds how Loftus-Cheek is ‘keen on the move’ and that the negotiation is ‘progressing very well’, suggesting that things are already on their way to being completed ahead of the summer.
Loftus-Cheek has been with Chelsea since 2004 when he was eight years old, coming through the academy at Cobham before making his first team debut in 2014 in the Champions League against Sporting CP.
His deal expires in 2024 and he no longer seems to be a guaranteed starter with the Blues, so could look for a new experience to relaunch his career at the age of 27.
Makes more sense as we’ll loose Isma for half of the season.
Would be great for us to have someone else other than leao and theo to carry the ball into attack and he can raise the level of competion in the midfield.
Add a striker to the list of summer targets of can challenge giroud and a right wiger and getting rid of messias, origi, rebic, ballo toure and, not signing diaz would be a good window for me

What I don’t understand is why we haven’t locked down asensio yet? Free agent, 9 goals 6 assists this year. What more could you ask for? He should have already been signed for 5m per season and he instantly covers the attacking mid role or right wing if needed
I fully agree with this. Not to mention his pedigree. I’ve been hoping for Asensio for over a year. But what if a guy who has won five champions leagues with Real Madrid and is still in his prime doesn’t want to play for a Europa League club? What if some nouveau riche EPL club like Newcastle is offering him 7-8m per season?
Asensio agreed with Madrid 4 years for 10ml per season so forget about him
