AC Milan have initiated contact with Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku over a potential move in the final days of the mercato, a report claims.

Following the slowdown in the negotiations for Sporting Lisbon’s Conrad Harder, Milan are exploring other options on the mercato for the No.9 role. Dusan Vlahovic has been mentioned as an option, but the management is also looking at other opportunities.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan are in talks with several intermediaries/agents as they need to reinforce the attack. One of the names that has been added to their list is Christopher Nkunku, the Chelsea forward.

Nkunku is open to a move

Initial contact has been made by Milan regarding the former Frenchman, who is open to leaving Chelsea in the final days, as Romano continues. The price tag would have to be within the Rossoneri’s, and that’s why they are moving in the final days of the mercato.

Last season, Nkunku made 48 appearances for Chelsea and found the back of the net 15 times. He would certainly add quality to the Milan attack, but questions can be asked as it was initially reported that Milan wanted a Giroud-esque striker, which Nkunku isn’t.

Then again, Nkunku is probably just one of several options that Milan are evaluating in these moments.

    1. depends if his injury aren’t worse than Boniface’s…

      he missed 54 games in 2 years…

this also shouldn’t exclude Vlahovic and Rabiot.

match Vlahovic to Leao in salary and maybe same with Maignan and Pulisic… these are the quality players than need appropriate salaries…

  1. None of the strikers we are currently interested is girouds type… If you want giroud, vlahovic isnt better than nkunku or harder

    1. He resembles absolutely nothing in a striker that we have declared to have been looking for. Max for a fact, did not request him. So who is after this guy? It’s all so confusing …

      1. It is anyone at this point. Chelsea want 50M€ for him. Refused loan with obligation from Bayern, at 40+ million. I mean the story is Milan can’t afford Vlahovic but can afford a 50M injury prone striker who will play where? It is either a joke or you can expect Embolo in a Milan shirt by the end of the week.

  2. Transfer window for us is like a wedding
…. something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue 😅🍿🍿🍿

    1. 😄🫣😄😢 You really got that right !! I don’t think we were expecting this mayhem from Tare & Allegri but all hell has broke loose since Cremonese.
You can see that there is a real difference in what Tare wants and Furlani allows.

  3. Embarassing!!!
Serie A started and still no forwards…
Now we are picking outcasts of the outcasts.
    . Boniface, Harder, Nkuknu,
Poor Milan , we are loughs now!!

  4. I understand our protagonist is Leao, but for the season to begin and not making plans for in the event he is injured is rather disappointing. We let Jovic, Abraham, Colombo, Camarda and Okafor leave without any replacement. That’s five out nil in. Guess who the joke is on now?

  5. At this point I’m not getting my hopes up for anything. Nkunku would be solid but I don’t believe he’s coming.

  6. 60mil for Nkunku? No thanks.

Get Allegri what he wants. It’s a reasonable deal for a striker he has worked with and wants. Stop reinventing the wheel.

  7. If management was smart they would go for someone like Aleksander Mitrovic dude just scores goals exactly what we need could can almost guarantee he would bring in 10-15 goals a season if not more. Had seen the Saudi club was trying to move him or terminate the contract am I wrong for thinking a player like that would be perfect for Serie A?

  8. It’ll be interesting to see if Allegri can last through next summer. Let’s say they struggle all year and at best they reach 4th, great, snuck into Europe, we’ll take it. But if that next summer window is like this one, I think he leaves maybe even mid season next year.

  9. I think Nkunku is the replacement of Chuku and Okafor. He can play anywhere in the attack. I’m sure the management will buy another striker even if they get Nkunku.

  10. If Musah and Chuk will leave and Harder gone cold 77m
Why they don’t go for :
    Arokodare 20m 1,97cm
    Uche 17m 1,90cm
    Comuzzo 30m
    Stroeyckens 10m
    Why not them?
    Or
    Arokodare 20m
    Rayan 14-20m 1,85cm
    Comuzzo 30m
    Or
    Arokodare 20m
    Uche 17m
    Comuzzo 30m
    Swap Bennacer with Fabbian
Why not one of these hypothetical scenarios?
Instead of Vlahovic who isn’t going to reduced his salary
Nkunku injury prone more salary than Vlahovic 12m+
    Embolo who can’t score
    Harder unproven and expensive
Rabiot primadonna and not good enough
    Djimsiti old
Okoli didn’t play well with Leicester City.

  11. We are going through strikers without even signing them…
It’s important to remember how good/bad we say they are so that a year from now we can reflect on process of selection…
    Just saying…!

  12. So what’s the plan?
Play Leao as a striker flanked by Nkunku and Pulisic?
It looks good on paper but Leao better put on his big boy pants. Playing a striker and playing a winger are 2 very different roles with very different demands physically, tactically and mentally.

  13. He’s complete trash. A feeble cripple who has none of the qualities Allegri wants. This must be Moncada’s idea.

  14. After Mike saga with Chelsea I hope they show any leincy with us….and nkunku is not what we exactly wanted he play on wings and will be one of the shortest strikers in seria a. As things stands it’s confusion all around with 4 cbs our coach prefer 3 at the back with barely any full backs to add it will be one hell of a season. Ac milan is a shark for our owners to manage. They simply can’t manage the way they prefer to manage. I don’t think allegri have any say in transfer window neither do tare. Its total confusion all around.

  15. He’s an attacker midfielder. Not striker. Means, better that Raboit and still there’s opening fur another forward since chik is out. Harder, not 100% yet. GIMENZ will be on out load. So irs a good move from Milan
