Romano: Milan in ‘concrete talks’ over Musah – bid expected and €20m could be enough

AC Milan are accelerating talks for Yunus Musah as they look to follow the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek with the Valencia midfielder, a report claims.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Milan have now opened concrete talks with Valencia for Musah who is ‘one of the top targets’ for the midfield department.

Negotiations are ongoing as per the journalist, who adds that an opening bid is expected soon and that a €20m fee could be enough to reach an agreement with the LaLiga side.

Musah played 37 games across all competitions for Valencia last season and the vast majority were in the box-to-box midfield role, but he can also play as a defensive midfielder too meaning he is a similar mould to the outgoing Sandro Tonali.

It comes after Romano confirmed earlier today that Loftus-Cheek will be joining the Rossoneri in a deal worth an initial €16m fee plus €4m in add-ons to Chelsea.

  1. I bet this signing (and Pulisic if that goes through) increases US viewership and interest in the club. Something Furlani can capitalize on to increase revenues. Especially after the New Era deal.

Good player that hopefully improves and grows more at our club. Lots of potential.

  2. This would be a good move. Along with Loftus Cheeks and if they can get Pulisic for the RW this team will be stronger than last season. Now if they can get Guler that would be huge but I doubt they can pull that off, too many big teams after him

        1. So basically 10 more years. And who peaks at 24 anyway? No one. No, scratch that. One-hit wonders. The rest reach their peak at 27-32 (depending on the position/role etc).

      1. He is only 24, how is that aged? He’s had some injury setbacks, that’s the only thing that might worry, but he is an upgrade at RW and can also play LW or Attacking Midfielder.

      2. We are at real life and not Football manager. 24 is still young and has plenty of room to grow.

In FM 24 y.o. Is considered old and have little/no room for improve, but it’s not like that in reality.

    1. Guler is a trouble maker and will quickly become a financial problem when Milan cant extend his contract. Milan are better off without him.

      Kamada just isn’t that good.

    2. Musah have italian passport so he is EU squad list. We cannot sign kamada or any other non EU anymore unless we sell devis vasquez & junior messias outside italy

    3. He has Italian pasport. And rumour said Kamada is trying to get Germany pasport hence the signing is delayed.

  3. The way I see him, he can be mould into the like Kessie. If the deal goes thru, we surely can say good bye to the likes of Amrabat, etc.

  4. He plays with a lot of energy and is very physical. Wins a lot of balls and is tough to dispossess. He does have some creativity in carrying the ball forward but isn’t much of a threat off the pass. He’s a good player with room to grow.

England wanted to keep him after he came up through their youth system but he went to the USMNT where he felt he was guaranteed a more substantial role.
