AC Milan are continuing negotiations with Valencia over the signing of midfielder Yunus Musah and things are progressing, a report claims.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, the Milan management are working on the Musah deal. Direct contacts have been taking place with Valencia since Monday, and the opening offer has been made.
It was a verbal bid from Milan worth €17m plus add-ons, which is being discussed. Musah is one of the ‘main targets’ for Milan for the midfield, with further updates to follow.
Musah was particularly impressive during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar for the American national team and it sparked lots of interest, with Inter among the sides also linked.
Valencia meanwhile are in a difficult financial situation after a sub-par season in which they battled relegation from LaLiga right until the final game of the campaign, so they need to try and sell players to raise funds.
I bet they’ll receive the “not enough, try again”-response already today.
20m euro cash + 2-3 million bonus can close the deal . Valencia need cash fast
We spend all the time getting the price down and others realize what a bargain and swoop in by offering a little more knowing we will not pay more
Yeah should be smart like you and pay 50m for him
