Romano: Musah wants Milan move with talks set to intensify

By Euan Burns -

Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah is keen to make the move to AC Milan and the Rossoneri are going to intensify the talks soon, a report claims.

As has been reported by Fabrizio Romano in his CaughtOffside Substack column, there is a genuine desire from Milan to sign both Tijjani Reijnders and Musah, even though Tommaso Pobega is staying and Ruben Loftus-Cheek has already arrived.

It is a further sign that Stefano Pioli is moving to a 4-3-3 formation, given there are so many deeper midfielders in the team with more on the way.

Musah agreed on personal terms with Milan a few weeks ago so there is no issue there, it is a case of agreeing on a fee with Valencia. A new round of talks will take place where they will seek a compromise somewhere between €17 million and €25 million.

He was one of the standout performers for the USA at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

  1. He is physical box to box midfield , at young age already perform good on national team ,i believe he can better than kessie after 1-2 season with ACM . 20m euro cash + bonus 3m euro should be enough to get him from valencia . Yunus – Reijnder- RLC / pobega should be enough form trio midfield until benna fit to play again in january

  2. He has a fair bit of top level experience for still being young. 27 caps for the US already, despite being just 20. I think this is a transfer to be excited about.
