Romano: Newcastle ready to repeat Guimarães mission for Tonali’s medical

Newcastle United have a medical team ready to fly out to meet Sandro Tonali so he can complete his medical, according to a report.

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle staff are prepared to fly to Romania in order to arrange medicals for Tonali and they are just waiting for the final green light from the clubs.

Milan and Newcastle are working on the fee structure which should be the final step before a full agreement is reached. Romano recalls how the Magpies did same kind of ‘mission’ in Brazil when they signed Bruno Guimarães.

Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that Newcastle raised their offer to €70m plus €5m in bonuses most recently, getting closer to Milan’s request of €80m, offering a deal that is worth a potential €10m net per season to the player and thus reaching an overall package which could come to around €140m.
