Rose’s agent plays down Milan links with Leipzig coach expected to stay

By Euan Burns -

The agent of German coach Marco Rose has played down speculation that he could become the next coach of AC Milan and he seems very likely to stay at RB Leipzig.

Andy Sadlo is Rose’s agent and he spoke to dotsport.it (via Milan News) about where his client could end up next season and he stressed that the rumours about Milan are nothing more than just that, rumours.

“Those noises about Milan are rumors and we don’t comment on rumours,” Sadlo said.

This comes shortly after Rose himself spoke to Sky Deutschland after their recent match against Werder Bremen and he explained that he expects to be in the Leipzig dugout next season.

“I’m strongly assuming that next year I will be the coach of Leipzig,” Rose said.

Rose has managed to guide Leipzig back into the Champions League as they currently sit fourth in the Bundesliga and cannot be caught by sixth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt. They cannot catch Stuttgart in third, but cannot be caught by Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund in fifth.

For this reason, there is no expectation that he will be sacked or is looking for a new job, as he has a talented young team.

Milan are being linked with coaches such as Sergio Conceicao, Paulo Fonseca, Thiago Motta, Antonio Conte, Mark van Bommel and many more, but Rose does not seem to be in the picture.

  1. Marco Rose would be a good coach for Milan
He’s got track record and has done a good job with Leipzig and I feel didn’t the treatment he got at Dortmund .
Would prefer him to conte due to longevity and motta due to the fact he would be easy to get due to lack of competition .
