RR: Milan offered chance to sign Palmeiras midfielder among others; latest on Duarte

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign a number of young players by Brazilian intermediary Serginho, according to a report.

Serginho was spotted entering Casa Milan on Tuesday evening to speak with the Milan management, and Simone Cristao of Radio Rossonera claims that he put a number of names on the table.

The only one named is Patrick de Paula, a 21-year-old midfielder who currently players for Palmeiras and has one goal in seven league games so far this season. Benfica are also keen on him.

Cristao adds that in the meeting with Serginho the management talked about the future of Leo Duarte, always among the eligible candidates to leave.

Santos and Atletico Mineiro, however, have already said no because of the player’s salary, which narrows the number of potential destinations.

Gianluca Di Marzio however believes Duarte is not expected to go anywhere this summer as his intention is to stay and prove his worth. The meeting at Casa Milan is to renew the trust and continue together.
