Ruhr Nachrichten: Dortmund man preparing for move abroad as Milan show interest

AC Milan are one of the clubs interested in signing Mahmoud Dahoud who will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, a report claims.

Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl announced earlier in the year during an interview with Bild that Dahoud’s spell with the club – which has lasted for over half a decade – would be coming to an end once the season is done.

According to what is being reported by Ruhr Nachrichten, there are a number of different options on the table for the former Borussia Mönchengladbach man, but it seems increasingly likely that a move abroad is what beckons.

There are three Premier League clubs who have shown an interest, with Leicester City in particular being the most concrete, while Milan and Real Betis also tried for a deal in January but Dortmund didn’t want to sell him.

As per the German source, finding right coach is what matters to the 27-year-old – who has made 141 appearances for BVB – because he does not want to go somewhere and be a bit-part player again.

  1. This would be a very signing for Milan. Dahoud is excellent midfielder. Top quality. It would be foolish for Milan to not sign him.
