There has been a lot said about AC Milan this summer. However, until the start of pre-season, we cannot gather much information.
From signings to statements, Milan have certainly been talked about this summer so far. After last season, it is only natural. A heavyweight of not just Italy but Europe falling once again. For many, it was a harrowing reminder of the banter era.

So, the discourse ahead of the season to come is understandable. However, the club are working. After all, they need to. Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare lead the new project, and their idea of the Rossoneri is coming together.
Pre-season approaching
As Gazzetta dello Sport write, the club are restarting and the pre-season schedule proves as such. Milanello is now a construction site, and whilst there are hopes that it can become a perfect structure before the start of the pre-season, it is not possible.
Despite this, the key figures are present, and pillars can start to be placed. Allegri’s return is the most notable. Everything has changed since he left 11 years ago, some for the better, some for the worse. Now, the return is seen as the ideal to return the Diavolo to the top.
The Italian knows how to restart, whilst also having the tools to strengthen the team, both towards each other and against their opposition. His decision to bring forward the Raduno was only the first step in his rebuilding.
Double sessions, meals at Milanello and full days at the training ground will all return. With these rules, Allegri hopes to return the club to the top.
Currently, a squad of 23 starts the summer, already less than last season and perhaps that number will change more before the end of the summer mercato. Key departures have happened, both financially and for the sake of the squad.
Then, there will be some to also arrive; Luka Modric and then the rest, with Ardon Jashari becoming a talking point once more.
The work is only just starting, but after last season, it needs to happen. After all, an eighth-place Milan is in no one’s best interest.
