Sangare, Diatte, Szoboszlai and David – Telelombardia predict Milan’s XI for 2020-21

By Oliver Fisher -

There are a lot of uncertainties regarding AC Milan as a club at the moment heading into the summer, and that extends to the playing squad.

There are doubts about the futures of several players such as Gianluigi Donnarumma, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Franck Kessie and Lucas Paqueta, while there have been links to countless reports targets.

Below, TV station Telelombardia have had a go at predict Milan’s starting XI for next season, and it raises a few eyebrows.

Firstly they have predicted that Ajax’s Andre Onana will replace Donnarumma in goal who will be sold, while the only change in the back four will be the arrival of Mohamed Simakan from Strasbourg.

In midfield, Ismael Bennacer will have another new partner in Toulouse’s Ibrahim Sangaré, while Club Brugge winger Krépin Diatta (21, with eight goals and four assists this season) will replace Samu Castillejo on the right.

On the left, Red Bull Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai will start after admitting earlier today that joining Milan would be ‘destiny’, while Jonathan David from Gent would partner Ante Rebic up front as Ibrahimovic’s stay is seemingly not on the cards.
