MN: Sao Paulo midfielder proposed to Milan with evaluations beginning

By Euan Burns -

Sao Paulo midfielder Pablo Maia has been proposed to AC Milan and they are now evaluating whether to make a move for him or not, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News today, the 20-year-old defensive midfielder from Brazil has been offered to the Rossoneri and technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara will start to see if they should make a move for him.

The Brazilian has made 51 appearances for Sao Paulo across 2022 so far and it is a club famed for producing incredible talents over the years.

He is one of many players that has been proposed to Milan by agents and intermediaries in recent days as it is known that Stefano Pioli needs a new midfielder.

That means that there is a very real chance that the Rossoneri will end up moving for a more established European target but the evaluations are underway.

  1. So we went from Sanchez, Botman and Zyiech to Thiaw and this guy… Great job Milan. We are really going to take the next step up with these signings. Milan’s policy of not signing anyone over 21 years of age continues.
