TMW: Sassuolo’s demands threaten to scupper Berardi’s exit despite Milan interest

By Oliver Fisher -

Sassuolo’s demands are once again threatening to scupper Domenico Berardi’s chances of joining a more ambitious club, a report claims.

TMW report that Milan, Juventus and Roma have all shown an interest in signing Domenico Berardi but at the moment there have been no concrete offers put forward to Sassuolo, who would like to leave the Neroverdi this summer.

Berardi has been at Sassuolo for 10 seasons and wants to try an experience at a top club before it is too late, and he feels ready for that leap after another brilliant season in which he racked up 15 goals and 14 assists in the league alone.

The problem is the high asking price of €35m that the Reggio Emilia based side have set, which is the reason that the big clubs in Italy are monitoring Berardi without making a concrete move for him.

There could be a discount but the Neroverdi believe the price they have set is fair for a player who has 120 goals and 84 assists in 325 games played for them.
