Armand Lauriente has had an excellent season with Sassuolo, helping them to get promoted back to Serie A, and AC Milan have taken note.
As Calciomercato.com recall, Lauriente already admitted he had his eye on a move last summer after relegation: “I admit it. Last summer I had contacts with some important clubs, I would have preferred to leave. I think you can understand me. But then I felt like I had something different inside.”
Yet the Frenchman ultimately stayed and he has been a driving force in their rapid promotion back to the top flight, racking up 17 goals and five assists. Now, with another summer transfer window looming, clubs are queuing up to make an offer.
One out, one in
It is very likely that we will see Laurienté with a different shirt in Serie A 2025-26, the report adds. If Samuel Chukwueze were to be sold then the idea could become a concrete for Milan too, who will look to strengthen in all areas.

The Nigerian has never been a first choice under Stefano Pioli, Paulo Fonseca nor Sergio Conceicao, and especially if the latter were to remain, he would certainly not be part of the project for next season.
There is a high chance of seeing him leave in any case after just two years. In this sense, there would be a place for Laurienté, then tactical evaluations on coexistence with Leao would come into play, given that both play on the left.
How much would the former Lorient man cost? Last summer, Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali had set it between €15-20m last year, and given the season he has had, it is unlikely Lauriente will leave for much less in July.
That’s some banter era level trash. We need champions not bargains
He has the quality to perform in Milan
IN: Coppola, Comuzzo, Ricci, Mikautadze, Orsolini
Keep: Walker, Sottil (if he can play as LM)
OUT: Thiaw (financial reasons), Terraciano, Emerson, RLC (if we get 15M back), Chukwueze, Okafor, Colombo, Vasquez
Adli, Pobega, Kalulu, Bennacer, Morata will all be sold; Alexis and Zeroli are a must keep
Another French man
