AC Milan will listen to offers for defender Pierre Kalulu this summer according to one journalist, as well as other players.
According to Alessandro Schiavone – who is part of the Di Marzio team – Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be offered a new deal by Milan and thus he will not be part of the squad for next season.
Meanwhile, the club will also listen to offers for Ante Rebic, Divock Origi and ‘not surprisingly given his drop of form’ Pierre Kalulu. For now Charles De Ketelaere will stay, partially because he has no market.
It is the first indication that Milan could be set for some changes in the defensive department, because the departure of Kalulu would certainly shake things up.
The Frenchman arrived at Milan as a relative unknown from Lyon and enjoyed a rapid rise to being an established starter during the Scudetto-winning season, but like Fikayo Tomori he has struggled to find consistency in 2022-23 so far.
He renewed his contract in november 2022 untill 2027 and has a valuation of 35 mil according to transfermarkt so im pretty confident to say that milan would want a fairly high sum for him and that there is still trust in him from the club but obviously even a sale at that price would mean attaining a great capital gain.
Also very important that he can play RB and CB.
Important to have players that can be backups at multiple positions. Rebic for example would have been long gone otherwise.

Still better than Calabria most days. And please don’t comment with his assist against Juve. After dozens of terrible crosses 1 is bound to work. Calabria is a lot like Diaz: always works hard, has a great performance once a month maybe, but simply not strong and fast enough.
Maybe he can be better than Calabria one day, but for now despite Calabria being the favorite for critisizing, absoloutly no one including Kalulu has performed better then him when given the chance as a RB. Many were tried but they all failed. Which shows you that Calabria is not that bad as people make him to be. There is a reason why Calabria has been in top 3 RB in Italy in the past 5years or so.
Calabria makes waaaaaay less catastrophic hazards than Kalulu and is harder to pass by on 1vs1-situations.
And Kalulu’s crosses aren’t something to be proud of either.
Kalulu should be given a chance as DM. He has good passing and vista, but he’s not physically strong enough as a defender. He would be a lot better in a position where he can use his football skills better.

I know the club cant afford top players but we have good promising youngsters like Gabbia, Bozzolan… and i cant forget Florenzi who has still minim. 2 years top playing plus is way better than Calabria (Florenzi had bad luck with the injury this year) and my secret wish is Baschirotto Frederico wich team buys him from Lecce is gonna be happy

I think he’s a good defender, and we shouldn’t forget that it’s partly manager’s duty to keep players in their best form. With our team’s physical exercise and training (which proves to be far from standard when we look at the high number of season injuries) no wonder every player loses consistency. Bring best players under Pioli’s management, and they’ll soon drop or get injured.
Im affraid this club is destined at least for some time to step on Arsenals footprints being nothing but a bussiness.Where they will be able to raise some value they will sell without any commitment to the hopes of the fans to win some titles.And this case of Kalulu if they will sell is a real clue.The guy was placed in all the defending roles in all the sistems and did not fail so badly as Tomori or Kjaer did.He needs consistency on a certain position and he will become the real deal.Selling him(after you got some value) and keeping players like de ketelaere only because you cant extract some value from a sell is a certain clue this vlub is nothing but a bussines for this angrybirds.
I do not want to see Kalulu leave. He can clearly play both as CB and RB…but if this became the money to fund the purchase of Scalvini I would be in full support.
