  1. Best derby i remember was INTER 0-6 AC MILAN in 2000. it was not on tv and i played cards with 2 inter fans just watching the score on tv teletext.. 🙂

  2. I highly disagree with whats being said regarding the stadium. I think the rivalry between Inter and Milan is unparalleled in terms of the unique intertwined relationship that the two clubs share like siblings in the same house. Having one sole epicenter to square the accounts in the form of San Siro makes Inter and Ac Milan special. Meeting right in the middle to set things straight, makes for the most sublime excitement. The duality of the Milan teams makes eachother better and more interesting. So we need to play eachother good and intensify this rivalry to ultimate extend, instead of just ignoring and disregarding eachother.
I dont think the meaning of that can be understated. They will become just like everyone else if they end up splitting up the stadium isolating themselves in a cosy little red and black village away from everything.

Regarding the criticism of San Siro being dated is something that can and should be adressed through renovation, maintanance and updating the facilities. If done right it can be done beautifully interwining new and old without tearing it down! We live in a time where we need to understand our history and the value we have right in front of us in terms of built matter else we will become a hollowed out historyless culture surrounded by more junk.

I can see the rent to the municipality is an issue and i cant understand why the municipality dont understand that this is not economically sustainable given the amount of competition there is in modern football and why there hasnt been found another more prosperous model in this regard, is a shame for everybody. Even for the municipality.

    Anyway!

    Great podcast guys!
    Forza Milan;)
