CM: Positive signals arrive from PSG and Spurs as Milan continue centre-back pursuit

By Oliver Fisher -

Among the issues that AC Milan must tackle this summer is the signing of a new centre-back to replace the outgoing Alessio Romagnoli, and two important signals have arrived.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have resumed contacts with the agents of 23-year-old Spurs centre-back Japhet Tanganga and a phone call took place on Tuesday. The Englishman is a profile to be taken into consideration because Spurs seem willing to accept a loan with option to buy formula.

Not only that, but the player has also already refused Bournemouth who are now turning to Axel Tuanzebe, who has returned to Manchester United after the loan to Napoli. It shows the player wants a more ambitious destination.

Meanwhile, interesting news has arrived from France regarding another target. PSG have excluded Abdou Diallo from their tour to Japan, because he is out of their plans and is therefore on the market.

However, Milan currently will not go near the high economic demands of the Parisians and would only consider a loan, though an opening could arrive after this latest development.
