Sole 24 Ore: Singer family expected at Sassuolo-Milan for probable farewell

By Oliver Fisher -

The Singer family are expected to be in the stands at the game between Sassuolo and AC Milan on Sunday for what could be their final game, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Il Sole 24 Ore (via SempreMilan.it), the American fund RedBird Capital have surpassed the competition of Investcorp in the last few hours with an offer of €1.3bn euros and are now very close to closing the acquisition of the Rossoneri.

The game against the Neroverdi could therefore be the last game as owner for Elliott Management, who took charge in 2018 after Yonghong Li defaulted on a loan repayment and have led the club on a steady rise back to competing for trophies.

For this reason, the Singer family – in particular Paul and Gordon who have shown their face before at game – could be present in the stands on Sunday, with the hope of celebrating a very important success in what is likely to be their last match.
