Six AC Milan players did not report for COVID-19 testing at Milanello on Monday morning, according to a report.
Sky Italia (via MilanNews) are reporting that Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie, Samu Castillejo, Ante Rebic, Rafael Leao and Davide Calabria were not present at Milanello on Monday.
The reason for this is simple: because they are returning from abroad, these players have already done the swab privately in the past few hours and therefore there was no need to do another test this morning.
The management including CEO Ivan Gazidis, technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara were also present today at the Carnago Sports Center and underwent tests, with Maldini having had Coronavirus during the break.
The team will return to actual training on the field on Tuesday afternoon to begin their preparations for the 2020-21 season, and you can read the rest of the itinerary for the week here.
