AC Milan face a transfer battle with Hellas Verona for the signing of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to a report.
Tuttosport reported on Monday (via MilanNews) that Milan are looking for a new striker on the market, but a young prospect who can grow alongside Ibrahimovic, and that the management have identified Vlahovic as the perfect profile.
The 20-year-old scored eight goals in 34 appearances across all competitions for La Viola and has been tipped for an exit as Fiorentina continue to be linked with other strikers such as Andrea Belotti, while Patrick Cutrone appears to be preferred.
However, there appears to be more than just the Rossoneri who are interested in signing Vlahovic. According to Sky Italia (via Calciomercato.com), Hellas Verona too have set their sights on the Serbia international.
La Viola’s will, however, is not to lose the 20-year-old forward on a permanent basis, preferring instead a loan spell so he can develop.
