Sky: Ibrahimovic makes decision over future as Monza ponder possible move

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided that he wants to keep playing and he hopes for a new deal from AC Milan, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Sky (via PianetaMilan), Ibrahimovic underwent scans in the last few days that confirmed he has suffered a calf muscle problem, which could mean that he is done playing for the season.

Zlatan’s season therefore could end with just 144 minutes of playing across four Serie A appearances and with one goal. The 41-year-old wants to play again before the campaign is done though, and he will do everything possible to be available.

In view of 2023-24, Ibrahimovic’s will is clear: he wants to continue playing for another year and would like his contract with Milan to be renewed until 30 June 2024 .

However, it is not certain that the management will agree to this, which is why the idea of him joining another club has emerged. AFTER 93 goals in 163 games with the Rossoneri, he could join Monza where Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani are pondering a move.
