AC Milan are closing in on the signing of winger Luka Romero on what would be a free transfer, according to a report.
As per the latest from Sky, in the next few hours Milan are planning a meeting in Milan to close the arrival of Luka Romero, who is on an expiring contract with Lazio and can play either on the right or as a playmaker.
There have been other offers from Spain for the 18-year-old but he has put them on stand-by because he is convinced by the Milan project.
Now, the Rossoneri management are ready to close the operation after having sorted out all the contractual details with his agent.
It is currently not certain what kind of a role Romero will have next season given that he is still very young, but he has chosen to leave Lazio in search of more game time so he could well be a serious contender for immediate first team minutes.
