Sky: Milan CEO Furlani begins talks with Sassuolo over Frattesi – the latest

AC Milan have seemingly been told that they must outbid their rivals Inter if they are to sign Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo, a report claims.

According to the latest from Sky, the first contacts between the CEO of Milan Giorgio Furlani and his Sassuolo counterpart Giovanni Carnevali for Davide Frattesi took place today, with a battle against Inter now underway.

The Nerazzurri are keeping contacts with Sassuolo alive too and they already had an agreement with the Neroverdi over a transfer fee around €35m plus the inclusion of Samuele Mulattieri as a counterpart to sweeten the deal.

Milan will be asked for €40m by Sassuolo if they are to give the green light for the sale, perhaps implying that Mulaettieri is valued at €5m or perhaps being a sign that the Rossoneri must offer a bit more to make Sassuolo consider the change of plans.

Either way it seems that Milan are ready to tackle this market derby head on and are serious about winning the race.

  1. I mean, it sounds like he wants Inter, Inter have sold him a project and there’s a structured plan in place to get him in to replace Brozovic. I’d love it if we hijacked it, but I don’t see it happening.
