AC Milan are one of the clubs in the running to land Burnley winger Dwight McNeil, according to a report from the UK.
The England U21 international produced some impressive performances for Burnley this season as they comfortably avoided the drop, and Sky Sports are reporting that several teams are now in the hunt to sign him.
They report that Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo is keen on McNeil, who started every single one of Burnley’s Premier League games this season, but Milan, Leicester and Wolves are also targeting him.
Burnley manager Sean Dyche said in March that the club did not need to sell, but if a major offer came in from a great team then it would be hard to refuse.
The 20-year-old is understood to be keen on the idea of playing European football, be that the Europa League with Milan or the two Midlands clubs or the Champions League with Juventus.
McNeil amassed two goals and six assists for Burnley last season.
