Sky: Milan’s probable XI against Monza – five changes with Okafor on the right

AC Milan will take on Monza in the 25th round of Serie A tomorrow and Stefano Pioli could make five changes to the starting XI, according to a report. Noah Okafor is one of the expected starters, playing on the right this time out.

Milan secured an important 3-0 win against Stade Rennes mid-week but despite the clear advantage ahead of the second leg, Pioli could rotate against Monza tomorrow. According to Luca Bianchin and Sky Italia (via MilanNews), he could make five changes.

Malick Thiaw is set to replace Simon Kjaer in the backline, having recovered from his injury and making an appearance off the bench last time out. In midfield, Tijjani Reijnders is not at 100% and that’s why Yacine Adli and Ismael Bennacer should start.

Finally, in the attacking trio, Noah Okafor is set to start but he will not replace Rafael Leao, taking the spot of Christian Pulisic instead. Luka Jovic will also get the opportunity as Olivier Giroud is set for some rest.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Florenzi, Thiaw, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Adli; Okafor, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Jovic.

Milan won the reverse fixture 3-0 and will be looking to continue their positive run in Serie A with another big win.
