Sky: Milan not happy with just Tonali – Chelsea man the favourite as another midfielder will arrive

AC Milan are not satisfied with just the signing of Sandro Tonali as they also want to sign another midfielder, according to a report.

Sky Italia (via MilanNews) have confirmed that an agreement between Milan and Brescia for Tonali has been found, and the Rossoneri have obtained a discount compared to the operation that was agreed a year ago.

Tonali will stay with Milan to become a permanent Rossoneri player, and the fact that the player reduced his salary was also decisive, with an official announcement imminent which will see the 21-year-old pen a multi-year contract.

Despite this, the Rossoneri will sign another midfielder before the end of the summer mercato. The favourite at the moment is Tiemoue Bakayoko of Chelsea, a player the management know well as he was on loan at Milan in 2018-19 and Napoli last season, but this is a deal that should close more towards the end of the market and not immediately.
