Sky Italia (via MilanNews) have confirmed that an agreement between Milan and Brescia for Tonali has been found, and the Rossoneri have obtained a discount compared to the operation that was agreed a year ago.

Tonali will stay with Milan to become a permanent Rossoneri player, and the fact that the player reduced his salary was also decisive, with an official announcement imminent which will see the 21-year-old pen a multi-year contract.

Despite this, the Rossoneri will sign another midfielder before the end of the summer mercato. The favourite at the moment is Tiemoue Bakayoko of Chelsea, a player the management know well as he was on loan at Milan in 2018-19 and Napoli last season, but this is a deal that should close more towards the end of the market and not immediately.
