Sky: Milan not out of the Frattesi race – important meeting scheduled for next week

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan do not consider the race for Davide Frattesi to be over and they have scheduled a meeting with Sassuolo for next week, a report claims.

As Sky report, Milan have wrapped up the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek in a transaction worth around €21.5m with a contract until 2027 for the player who joins from Chelsea, but the work on the midfield is not done there.

Frattesi continues to be followed by the Milan management and an auction has been unleashed for the Sassuolo star, with several clubs interested as Inter’s grip on things has weakened.

Milan have scheduled a meeting with the Neroverdi for the beginning of next week to speak about the 23-year-old Italy international, assuming that Inter – who at the moment have the advantage over other suitors – do not close the operation sooner.

The Nerazzurri seem to be having issues selling Marcelo Brozovic to Saudi Arabia which has slowed down their plans to make Frattesi’s arrival official.
