AC Milan are set to say goodbye to midfielder Alessio Brambilla as he will not renew his contract with the club, according to a report.
As reported by the editorial staff of Sky Italia (via MilanNews), the 19-year-old Primavera player will not renew his contract with the Rossoneri and will leave, while it does not seem as if finding a new club will be difficult. That is because there are several admirers of the teenager including clubs from around Europe, with LaLiga side Leganes keen above all.
Brambilla made 22 league appearances for the Primavera side this season and during his career he has been deployed both as a defensive midfielder and occasionally as a centre-back. He has also worn the captain’s armband for the U19 side, but perhaps given the strength of the first team’s midfield department – with Kessie, Bennacer and Tonali present – he has decided to try a new experience.
