Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano has suggested that Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez are being forced out by AC Milan.

Theo has a contract which will expire in just over 12 months, and earlier in the week it was reported that Milan and Al-Hilal had agreed a deal for Theo worth around €35m. He rejected the idea of a move there, hoping to get a top European club, with Atletico Madrid then entering the scene.
Meanwhile, Maignan – who is the captain of the Rossoneri – also seems to be heading for the exit door. He has refused to speak with Milan over a new renewal and, according to Sky, told the club that he wishes to join Premier League outfit Chelsea.
A shock Sky update
Peppe Di Stefano, the well-known correspondent and journalist for Sky, spoke directly from the Italy training camp. The Azzurri are preparing to face Norway this evening, but his main comments were on the outgoings at Milan.
“Theo and Maignan? I understand they want to stay, I believe that these possible sales are in this case the club’s choices, especially regarding Theo, to get rid of him,” he said (via MilanNews).
“What remains in doubt could be a bad management of resources in the last season, resources understood as players or team group. Obviously, only the club can give an answer”
