AC Milan are ready to make an offer to sign midfielder Jean Onana from Bordeaux on a permanent deal, according to a report.
According to what Gianluca Di Marzio and Peppe Di Stefano reported on the Sky programme Calciomercato L’Orginale (via MilanNews), Onana’s agents were in Bordeaux today to speak about the possibility of their client moving to the Rossoneri.
Bordeaux said no to the Rossoneri’s loan proposal, however the Milan management already knew that they were very likely to reject any kind of loan formula given their need to make money quickly.
Milan have a budget of about €5m so the operation is expected to be defined in the coming days. Today there will be a definitive offer sent to the French club, because the player is very popular among the management and therefore they have decided to move full steam ahead to sign the 22-year-old Cameroon international.
