AC Milan are still in the market for an upgrade at right-back if the right opportunity emerges and Serge Aurier remains a target, it is claimed.
Milan are looking to strengthen in all departments this summer and after completing the midfield with the arrivals of Sandro Tonali, Brahim Diaz and possible Tiemoue Bakayoko, the defence could now be the focus.
According to what Manuele Baiocchini has told Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Milan have been looking for a right-back for some time given the struggles that both Davide Calabria and Andrea Conti had last season.
Aurier is one of the few names left on Milan’s wish list, and it is possible that patience could be key in getting a deal over the line.
That is because could open to a loan exit for the Ivorian towards the end of the market having already signed Matt Doherty from Wolves to replace him, and a loan formula would be perfect for the Rossoneri.
