Sky: Milan seeking to reinforce the right side with Torino star a target

AC Milan are looking to reinforce their right flank and the name of Wilfried Singo has emerged as a target, according to a report.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, the Milan management are aiming to bolster the right wing position and the names on the list are Adama Traore and Singo of Wolves and Torino respectively.

The former remains an objective because his contract with Wolves is set to expire very soon and he has a dual passport meaning he would not take up a non-EU spot.

There were contacts for Singo too, but Milan are waiting to submit a formal offer. His deal with Torino is set to expire in June 2024 which means the Granata will perhaps be open to a sale to make sure they get something.

The big question mark is regarding the role envisioned for Singo, given the Ivorian plays mostly as a right-back but he can be used as a wing-back. He made 35 appearances last season across all competitions, with two goals and three assists.

    1. so you doesnt watch many milan games in the last several years calabria has been one of the most consistnett well performing rb’s in serie a but just as with abate people doesnt give a damn about facts,
Remember how he bagged kvaraskelia in pretty much all the games he has had to mark him.

        1. i would say pobega or saelemaekers and previously krunic but calabria is often bashed when he has some of the best stats for backs in serie a. Abate had the same problem even when he one season was the back with most assists people complained he couldnt pass/cross a ball.
Funny enough barca actually tried to buy him at one poin but the player refused,

          1. Well… Pobega & Saelemaekers cannot be included in the “top3 of their positions in Serie A”-discussions unlike Calabria. Yet Calabria gets almost as much dirt on him as the two others.

          2. bb neither did i say that but in the ac milan squad they are very underated nevertheless in my view but calabria do also gets far too much criticismn so its not that we are freally disagreeing here.
I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up sold just for the fact that he is our captain and cardinale wants to leave his own imprint on the team disregarding the clubs players in the process. I’d keep him though.

      1. I agree he was brilliant against Kava, but he was otherwise not up to Milan standards and Simgo would be a very welcome signing.

I watched e every Milan game last season and was not happy with Calabria play

        1. He had some lesser good games i agree and he did also have a dip in form compared to the previous season but thats how it sometimes goes but in the last 5 seasons or something he has perfomed in the top of all backs in italy.
I have no issues with singo though but we are pretty well stocked there unless we were to sell kalulu or calabria but from what i can see singo also only holds an ivorian passport so it would posses an issue buying him if we actually wants to huy more necessary need ed non eu players.

          1. I would sell Tomori before Kalulu,I really rate him as a centre back and right back, he is for me definitely a jewel in our crown.

I feel Tomori should have been cashed in but Garath Southgate’s criticism of him and refusal to put him in the England squad is what stops us from getting £60m+ for him

          2. Personally i would keep both but i would have sold both instead of tonali but of the two defenders i think kalulu propably would make the most sense to sell from a financial standpoint considering we only paid 500k for him,

  1. Offer swap deal pobega + few cash for singo . Dont renew florenzi after his contract expire 2025 . We will good with singo & calabria compete for RB
