Sky: Milan big admirers of Udinese talent – talks underway between the clubs

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in signing Lazar Samardzic and have begun contacts with Udinese, according to a report.

Sky report how Milan’s management will once again have to re-evaluate their strategy after losing the derby with Inter for Marcus Thuram, who found an agreement with the Nerazzurri after being in contact with the Rossoneri for several days.

Milan are aiming to respond and have set their sights on Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic. Contacts are underway between the two clubs, with Geoffrey Moncada a big admirer of the 21-year-old attacking midfielder.

The club will therefore continue their philosophy based on young players. Samardzic arrived in Udine two years ago on a permanent basis from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.

After a first year of adaptation, in the season just ended the Serbian found continuity with Sottil’s team, collecting 37 appearances in Serie A, amassing five goals and four assists.

  1. They not in the same position, Samardzic can play as AM but most of the time he play as CM. and he is more talenten than Brahim, hope it will happend but I have no expection from the management

    1. There is almost no one on the planet more talented than Brahim. That doesn’t mean he will ever become world class, but Samardzic is not really more talented, far from that. Also doesn’t mean he won’t be a better player in the end…
