Sky: Milan’s probable XI for Sampdoria encounter – Origi to make first start

AC Milan will face Sampdoria in the 6th round of Serie A tomorrow evening and a few changes are expected to the starting XI. To name one, Divock Origi is set to make his first start for the club.

Stefano Pioli fielded almost the same line-up for the mid-week clash against RB Salzburg as we saw in the derby against Inter. The only exception was Alexis Saelemaekers, who scored the goal against the Austrian side.

According to Sky (see photo below), the manager will make four changes to the starting XI. Simon Kjaer will replace Fikayo Tomori at the back, which understandable given that the Englishman has played a lot.

In the midfield, Tommaso Pobega will start alongside Sandro Tonali rather than Ismael Bennacer. Saelemaekers scored the winner last time out, as mentioned, but Junior Messias will get the chance to shine tomorrow.

Finally, Origi is expected to make his first start for the club and he has a point to prove after receiving some criticism following the Salzburg draw.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Kalulu, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Pobega; Messias, De Ketelaere, Leao; Origi.
