Sky: Milan’s fate in their own hands – celebration and a great market or misery and reflections

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have six days to prepare for a game that means months of either glory and celebration or anger and reflection.

Peppe Di Stefano spoke to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) live from Milanello during the broadcast ‘Il Calcio è Servito’ and remarked that the Rossoneri want to turn the page and think about Atalanta, because they still own their own destiny in their hands.

Milan have to fight for a win that would secure a top four spot because the Rossoneri are among the strongest teams in Europe away from home, with the most points collected away from home of any Serie A side this season.

The first match point was wasted against Cagliari, but now Pioli and his troops have another one. Winning or losing makes a difference as the former ‘would mean spending 3 months in glory and having a great market’ while losing ‘would mean 3 months of in-depth analysis that everyone does, I think even Elliott’.
