Sky: Milan’s probable XI for trip to Genoa – Calabria to be rested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is set to make yet another change to his starting XI for the game against Genoa tonight, according to reports.

Milan will be looking to maintain their three-point lead atop the Serie A table and possibly even extend it when they visit Genoa on Wednesday night.

The Rossoneri will feel that they were unlucky to only get a point in their last game against Parma on Sunday despite coming from two goals down to draw 2-2, as they had a goal disallowed and hit the woodwork three times.

With Ibrahimovic, Kjaer, Bennacer and Gabbia all injured, we already knew that Pierre Kalulu was set to start at centre-back, Sandro Tonali in midfield and Ante Rebic up front.

However, according to the latest from Sky Italia (via MilanNews), there will be another change. Davide Calabria will be rested, meaning Diogo Dalot gets the nod at right-back.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Dalot, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Leao; Rebic.
