Sky: Milan’s probable XI to face Verona – Meite to start; Tomori remains on the bench

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will be looking to get back to winning ways and put a disappointing draw against Hellas Verona behind them when they travel to face Hellas Verona.

Stefano Pioli will be without the injured duo of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hakan Calhanoglu for the trip to the Bentegodi, while Ismael Bennacer and Mario Mandzukic will also miss out as they continue to recover from muscle injuries.

Sky reports that Gianluigi Donnarumma will be protected by a back four of Davide Calabria (back in for Pierre Kalulu), Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez.

Soualiho Meite will come in for Tonali and partner Franck Kessie will be the double pivot, with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Ante Rebic acting as the trio behind centre-forward Rafael Leao, who will be hoping for a better outing than Wednesday night.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Castillejo, Krunic, Leao; Rebic.
