AC Milan are planning fresh talks with Barcelona over the signing of centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, according to a report.
We reported on Friday that Todibo is a target as Milan are looking to reinforce their defensive department in the January window, however two major obstacles exist at present.
The first is the formula of the deal: Barcelona would only be willing to let him leave on loan with an option to buy set at a high price.
In addition to this, the Rossoneri would have to convince the player who – according to his entourage – would like to remain in Spain.
According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio – as cited by MilanNews.it – there could be contacts between Milan and the LaLiga side to talk about Todibo on Monday.
This would be to understand the feasibility of the deal and whether there is some scope for the two parties to reach an agreement ahead of January.
