The Rossoneri will get back underway after the brief Christmas break on January 3 when they travel south to face Benevento looking to keep their spot at the top of the table, and preparations have resumed at the training headquarters.
According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), today was an optional training day at Milanello, but practically everyone showed up, apart from those who had difficulties with air transfers such as Franck Kessie, Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
As for the Swede, the player will undergo a medical examination on Wednesday to understand the extent of his calf injury but the feeling is that he could return for the away match against Cagliari on January 18. Only after tomorrow’s visit will we know more about recovery times, though.
