AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri has a couple of doubts to resolve ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Parma.

Allegri spoke in his pre-match press conference on the eve of the game and he outlined a number of key areas where he feels his side can improve, once again stressing that top four is the only aim for the season despite Milan being one point off first.

On the injury front there is good news: Christian Pulisic has been training in full since Wednesday and will be fit enough to make the bench. Adrien Rabiot and Santiago Gimenez – who will also remain at Milanello during the break – should exit the treatment room in time for the derby.

Predicted Milan XI vs. Parma

According to the latest from Sky, Fikayo Tomori is not yet at his best having suffered knee swelling following the draw with Atalanta, forcing him to start the Roma game on the bench. At the moment Koni De Winter has a clear advantage to start at right centre-back.

Samuele Ricci should be preferred to Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the midfield department. On the left flank, a ballot between Davide Bartesaghi and Pervis Estupiñán is ongoing, with the latter slightly ahead at present.

Up front, Rafael Leao and Christopher Nkunku will start together for the second straight game. As mentioned, Pulisic will be able to lend a hand during the game, but for how many minutes remains to be seen.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; De Winter, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Ricci, Estupiñán; Leao, Nkunku.

  1. Nice to see Estupian back and De Winter getting more minutes. Tomori has been good but I can’t stand watching him constantly screaming and throwing his hands in the air. I would hate to be his teammate.
Woud like to see RLC starting over Fofana or Ricci or even up top.
    Pulisic with the late winner…

    1. Fafana is the most important player in our midfield dnt just missed chances because that not the roll he played if you know about football you will never bench him he’s the one who run the most in midfield he’s the one who let modric wrk look easy

      1. The statistics said from 2 latest Milan games that who run the most in the milan midfielders was Ricci, bartesaghi and modric. None fofana 😂

    2. Yes, every time a player has a tough game, they are no longer ‘good’ and should be dropped and sold immediately…That shouldn’t make sense to you.

  2. Estupinan will mess up and it will be clear that Bart is the better option. Hopefully that mess up does not cost us the game.

  3. Fofana was very poor in the last match, but it seems he’s undroppable before Rabiot and Jashari recover fitness.

  4. Fofana is either glorious or poor. There’s no middle ground with that guy. He’I’ll either make a brilliant defense splitting pass or take a shot into row Z. He’s decision making is unpredictable. Luckily for him he’s strong on his feet and does a decent job winning tackles (when they aren’t studs up) and helping out defensively.

The problem is that if all our mids he pushes forward the most and that’s when his shortcomings are on full display.
