Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Celtic – five changes as Krunic, Dalot and Castillejo come in

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli appears to be edging towards making five changes ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash against Celtic.

There has been deliberation all week in the media about whether Pioli could make wholesale changes for the game in Scotland, which will kick off the Rossoneri’s Europa League group stage campaign.

According to Sky (via MilanLive), Milan could take the field with five changes compared to the starting XI that beat Inter in the derby at the weekend.

A back four of Diogo Dalot, Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez is expected in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma, with Sandro Tonali partnering Franck Kessie in midfielder.

Samu Castillejo will take Saelemaekers’ spot on the right with Brahim Diaz in for the injured Calhanoglu and Rade Krunic playing on the left wing for the first time as a Milan player, completing the trident behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Castillejo, Brahim Diaz, Krunic; Ibrahimovic.
