Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Roma – Brahim Diaz to be saved as Krunic should start

By Oliver Fisher -

Brahim Diaz will not start the game against Roma as has been rumoured for the last few days as Rade Krunic is now reportedly the favourite to start.

As reported by Peppe Di Stefano for Sky (via MilanNews), Krunic will play against Roma in place of Brahim Diaz as Stefano Pioli will keep the Spaniard as a wild card for when the game is in process, as he has only just recovered from Covid-19 and missed the game against Torino on Tuesday night.

In terms of the other selection choices, Ciprian Tatarusanu should have a back four ahead of him consistent of Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori and Theo Hernandez. Kessie and Bennacer should be the double pivot, while Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao are expected to be on the right and left wing respectively and Zlatan Ibrahimovic the centre-forward.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Kessiè, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Krunic, Leao; Ibrahimovic.
