Sky: Probable Milan XI to face SPAL – Krunic and Leao in with Pioli set to make six changes

Some surprising news has emerged not long before Wednesday’s game against SPAL as Sky Italia believe Stefano Pioli could make big changes to his starting XI.

Milan make the trip east to face SPAL looking to continue their red-hot form in Serie A since it returned. The Rossoneri have played two and won two since league action returned; the first being a 4-1 drubbing of Lecce last Monday which was followed up by a pleasing 2-0 win over Roma at San Siro on Sunday.

According to Sky (via MilanNews), Pioli is thinking of fielding a starting XI with six changes compared to the last game against Roma.

In defence Davide Calabria and Matteo Gabbia are set to come in instead of Andrea Conti and Simon Kjaer. In the midfield Rade Krunic will come in for Franck Kessie, while behind Rebic there would be Alexis Saelemaekers, Lucas Paquetà and Rafael Leao instead of Castillejo, Bonaventura and Calhanoglu.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma, Calabria, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Hernandez, Bennacer, Krunic, Saelemaekers, Paquetà, Leao, Rebic.
